The yard, the mullet, and the rain....
Hi there friends and family. We hope you all are well, and hope that you all are registered to vote in this upcoming election. Obama spoke yesterday at the University of Nevada, Reno, and my friend Doug and I went to see him. It was amazing! The energy that we felt, along with 12,000 others, was unreal! He was honest and uplifting, and really spelled out his plan for the economy and the current crisis we are all living today. It was the greatest half hour of my month, so please be sure to vote (oh wait, only if you're a democrat - hahaha!).Now for Matt...he has had a very busy summer working on the back yard. We are happy to say that we have put an end to the yard projects for the summer (yeah!!!). Check out this photo of what he did accomplish this summer, and yes I helped a little...probably not as much as he would have liked :-). Who would make dinner and take care of Lila if we were both working on the yard, right?
We have also decided to say good-bye to the "Mohican Mullet",otherwise known as "crusty the clown meets the mullet" (i.e.business in the front, party in the back)! Lila's first haircut was a success! She no longer is sporting the curly mullet and looks adorable...we ought to groom our child more often....why didn't anyone tell us :-)Well, enough of my babbling...please have yourselves a good week and enjoy the last of the good weather for 2008!
p.s. Britt, thanks for sending the rain our way this coming weekend...we are looking forward to it :-) I love not feeling guilty about staying in my pajamas all day long!

wow! What a handy man! That looks so great and inviting. Awesome place to hang and have family time.
Kudos to Matt! I'm glad things are going well with Lila. Yes, I understand about the mullet...Nolan has the same one that Lila use to have. I think we're gonna get it cut after we take our family pix.
Love ya!
P.S. Enjoy the debate tonight...I'm afraid I'll be cringing the entire time Palin speaks.
Your backyard looks great!
Do you have pictures of Lila post haircut?
I would love to see the before & after photo of lila's new hairdo. please post on the blog if you can.
your long lost neighbor,

Your patio looks so nice! You have to post a pic of Lila post haircut. I'm trying to convince Kaitlyn to go for her first cut.
Go Obama!
